Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were recently left shaken after being chased by the paparazzi in New York.
According to reports from local media outlets, the couple were involved in a state of absolute frenzy when reporters went wild to capture a glimpse of the duo as they made their way, out and about in town.
Clearly, this was not an endeavor that this couple saw coming by miles. While they’re known for being favorites on the list of the media, no matter they go, the attention that surrounded the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was just a lot this time.
Tom Buda, who happens to be the head of the security firm that provides bodyguards to the couple during their stays around the globe mentioned how the media did behave in a very reckless manner.
He condemned the behavior and further went on to add that this was something that was near fatal. He also mentioned how other members of the press also saw the footage and they were appalled at how the media did go wild for a single picture that could have resulted in absolute chaos and catastrophe.
“It’s just so wrong how they’re playing with their own lives and the lives of others. This was not supposed to happen and we condemn all such behavior while praising the guards for protecting the couple and ensuring they are safe at all times”- he continued.
The incident took place during the start of this week in New York City and now, both Harry and Meghan are demanding the agency release images and footage of the chase to them.
The setting happened to be for a charity event in midtown Manhattan during the later hours of Tuesday, sources further went on to confirm.
