New developments regarding the Madeleine McCann case are taking center stage as we speak right now.
According to reports from local media outlets, a team of detectives was seen rushing to a reservoir in Portugal where they believe her remains may be present.
But the news did not impress authorities in the Portuguese nation who feel no matter how much they search, they would be surprised if they found anything over there.
The news comes just weeks after the victim’s parents mentioned how hard it was for them to be without their child and not know anything about her tragic disappearance, despite so many years passing.
But they vowed to continue going with the search and never give up until they find closure and figure out what happened. Meanwhile, the detectives claim they could not be making more revelations in the press but they hoped to be able to find more clues about Madeleine’s disappearance from a family vacation.
The reservoir was identified as the Algarve Reservoir but sources close to the suspect’s lawyer mentioned there was little to no hope of finding any major thing during this time.
Cops in Portugal claim to be busy closing off roads that lead to several man-made locations as detectives were seen leading the way for this new mission.
The exact location was identified as the southern part of Portugal, which will be the official location for the start of the ordeal tomorrow.
More reports mentioned how authorities from Scotland Yard also managed to reach there on time. So far, nothing else has been unveiled as striking images featuring all the members involved in the mission took center stage.
The police officials from Germany are all set to arrive there to search for the area of interest but for now, the authorities in Germany continue to be tight-lipped on the matter for obvious reasons.
