Actor Robert De Niro just turned 80 and the star opted to ring in the monumental occasion by hosting a star-studded birthday bash.

It’s safe to say that there were plenty of notable faces from the entertainment industry but the arrival of one guest had fans stunned beyond words.

And that happened to be none other than Christopher Walken who has not been seen for quite some time now. But the 80-year-old’s arrival was certainly a grand affair.

The 80-year-old star looked frail but was seen walking on his own with his team of security officials by his side. The event was held in New York City and it’s safe to say that it was a very grand and star-studded event for obvious reasons.

The iconic star has been famous for years for having a wonderful bond with Robert De Niro, ever since the pair debuted together in the famous 1978 hit film The Deer Hunter.

Therefore, it was great to see both stars unite at this memorable birthday celebration that had a whole list of other famous celebs at the venue on Thursday too.

The Deer Hunter film happened to be one where Robert De Niro was nominated as best actor while Walken was nominated as best supporting actor. And that film really did wonders at establishing their names as some of the best in the Hollywood industry.

But Walken has been keeping a distance from the public for quite some time now. Therefore, it was seen as a wonderful gesture for him to arrive for the grand celebration.

The iconic actor debuted a dapper figure as he stood alongside his 79-year-old wife Georgianne.

The long list of celebs who were in attendance for the event included the likes of Uma Thurman, Alec Baldwin, Paul McCartney, and more. Moreover, the star’s wife and other loved ones were also there, right by his side.
