For some people, patriotism really does run in their blood and they have no issues with displaying it across the board.
This next story is similar to that belief where a teenager felt the urge to put in a few extra flags of his beloved American nation on his truck. But little did he realize that it would come with some scary consequences.
The family has explained how their loyalty to the American nation is incomparable to all others. Therefore, when they were informed that their son’s school administration had ordered him to have his American flags taken down from the vehicle, they were shocked and furious.
When asked for a justification for this behavior, they had been told that there was one flag too many. And that made them even more upset.
The school has since then been getting plenty of negative publicity after the incident as people were disgusted because all he had was two large flags, nothing to cause the sort of commotion that was taking place at that moment in time.
Moreover, others were appalled at how the school justified their demands by bringing the school’s policy into the matter. That was not something they saw coming by miles. And now, calls to boycott the Staunton River High School are on the rise.
Other parents feel that this sort of behavior is just unacceptable. Why would a school promote such a negative thought process instead of focusing on things that really matter? And that includes education and instilling patriotism.
Furthermore, the parents of Christopher Hartless have gone on to add that they were left with no choice but to have their son out of that toxic environment in seconds. They felt that any school that felt such behavior was alright shouldn’t be allowed to function. What do you think?
