Actor Mark Wahlberg is making some interesting comments about his loved ones and how they’re doing a great job after turning their backs on Hollywood.

The star revealed how their shift from Los Angeles to Las Vegas has really proved to be in their best interest because now, they’re thriving and in a much better place and space when compared to the past.

Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham claim they may have been very skeptical at first to make such a brave and bold decision but this time around, it’s almost as if they’re grateful that they did. And that’s because what they got in return was nothing but positivity.

The couple made the choice to do the shift around six months back and it’s been such a pleasure for them because now, it’s almost as if they’ve been destined for the change.

The leading Hollywood star says he wanted this change for a long time and felt it was necessary for the betterment of the kids and more. And that’s just what they got.

“This is going to give them a great chance to pursue their goals and take some great chances in their lives”- he adds.

The star says that he does not wish to be selfish and instead, wants them to pursue their goals and interests, in the manner that he was able to do his. “It’s a change and one that was much needed”- he continued.

All in all, it’s just been great for them overall, he feels and this might be the start to some great beginnings, the couple adds.

The couple has a total of four children, and they’re all teenagers, looking to move on to the professional world very soon. And at this age, the actor feels that change was the call of the day.

Common fields of interest that Las Vegas is set to cater to for the kids include their love for basketball, golf, and equestrian.
