Actor Dwyane Johnson has left a lot of people in shock recently after he shared with the world some more startling details regarding his battle with depression.

The star says he’s learned so much in such a short span of time and it’s sometimes really hard for him to come to terms with everything going on in his mind.

The actor was quick to recall three separate battles with depression and how hard he worked to combat each of them. Moreover, the star was also very specific in terms of mentioning how his journey was certainly not easy.

He gave praise to those that go through mental health struggles on a daily basis but choose to remain silent. Clearly, he was not one of them and is now raising awareness on the matter.

At that time, he had no clue about what exactly mental health was. But now, he’s making it a point to make others understand that it’s equally important to other aspects of your health.

The news about the star’s battle with mental health comes at a time when he was announcing his cameo role for the hit film series, Fast and the Furious.

Johnson says that days used to pass by and he would not work out or feel like going into meetings. Everything was just so negative around him and his mood was never great either.
