A groom was left horrified after learning that his dog ate his passport just days before his dream wedding in Italy.
Sources from local media outlets claim the couple who hailed from Boston, Massachusettes were seen scrambling at the last moment after finding out the horror reality of the situation.
The thought of the couple’s dream wedding in the state of Massachusetts being in absolute jeopardy has left them both not only sad but devastated beyond words. And it’s all thanks to the man’s best friend.
It seems like the doggo may not have been happy with the sound of the news of passing up on the honor of being the best man. Moreover, Donato Frattaroli was seen scrambling to find a last-minute solution for the ordeal so they could be in line with their upcoming flight that’s scheduled for Italy this Friday.
The incident arose when the golden retriever that’s just 1.5 years old found it beyond scrumptious to chew up the passport. Chickie proved to the world that she was in no mood to be a good girl while they were both gone.
The couple from Boston claimed they ended up at the City Hall in the past week to attain a marriage license and that happened to be followed by a letter of intent. This came with a romantic dinner date that would assist in celebrating this occasion as well as a new chapter in their lives.
But when they returned home, they realized that their dreams were down the drain after seeing what their dog ended up doing.
It was beyond a nightmare for them.
She chewed the first four pages of the passport and some others too, not to mention swallowing the stamp from Mexico which was from the couple’s engagement that arose several years back.The couple says it was the most stressful night of their lives and seeing their happy moment turn into something sad so quickly was devastating. It was super damaging and all they could do was yell at her in vain.
So the latest update is that they’re yet to secure an appointment in the New England area so they can get passports. But they’re also trying to reach out to several lawmakers for assistance.
