Rapper Ice-T is feeling the heat from critics online after claiming he and his wife still co-sleep with their daughter, despite her being seven in age.
The couple added how they’ve got no issue and don’t see anything wrong with the action, adding how she will always be their little baby. But some netizens failed to agree and felt like they were not setting up the right example for the child.
The couple says they know that a lot of people might find it weird or strange but they don’t mind. Their goal right now is to soak up all the lovely moments with their child that they can get because these are not coming back.
All in all, people were just a little surprised as to why the couple would choose to make the child so dependent on them at this age. Therefore, trolls were quick to go into more detail about how they found it odd to let someone this old intervene in their bed space.
The couple was seen shedding light upon how differently they are raising their daughter as compared to how the rapper raised his older children.
It seems like all of the exceptions are being made for this young one and not for the elders who were seen sleeping alone after the age of five.
But the part that really had people in a stage of shock is how he boldly declared on air in front of millions of viewers how much more love and attachment he had for his daughter that he shares with Coco Austin.
And it’s not the same as the way he felt about his older kids that he shares with his ex.
He started to justify that claim by mentioning how at that time, his music career had really distracted him from being the parent that he always wanted to be.
He says that he was just so busy all of the time and there were occasions when he wished he would have been able to give his older kids the love of a dad, which he’s giving to his 9-year-old child.
