Just Stop Oil is wreaking havoc in the United Kingdom and citizens of London are calling for help before it gets too late.
Many people were affected by the massive traffic jam that ensued yesterday due to the blockage of all leading roads, bringing life in the city to a complete standstill during rush hour.
This is not the first time that we are seeing these overzealous activists take center stage. All of central London has been affected by these individuals but nobody is willing to help.
One officer can be seen simply walking past a citizen who is complaining about getting late to work but it seems to be making no difference as if the authorities themselves are helpless and don’t know what to do.
The eco-warriors could be seen donning their high-vis jackets in orange as they slowly began to march throughout central London for the third consecutive day.
They held light signboards and posters that mentioned ‘End Climate Injustice’ as they loudly chanted slogans against those not willing to give up oil.
This new campaign has been dubbed civil resistance and despite receiving plenty of threats for conducting unlawful protests in some areas, they are not fearful. Instead, they seem to be coming back stronger than ever and that could only spell misery for others who are simply tired of dealing with this.
Many people who commute to work mentioned how it’s daunting to face such activists that are stubborn and not willing to back down.
In one video that was shared online, a motorist can be heard yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. “Please move this, I have got to go to work. It’s urgent”- but the yelling falls on deaf ears as nothing changes and the protests continue as planned.
