Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari is allegedly ‘threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information’ about the superstar if their prenup was not renegotiated.
The couple left the world shocked after it was reported that they have split only 14 months after they got married.
It has been claimed that the dancer confronted the superstar over cheating allegations.
Page Six has now reported that Sam is seeking a bigger payout or he would release ‘extraordinarily embarrassing’ information about Britney.
An insider alleged: “(Asghari is) attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.
“So that’s what Sam is focused on.”
But a source close to the singer told Daily Mail: “(These allegations) are absurd and there is no way her attorney, a former federal prosecutor, would ever let anyone ever extort Britney Spears.”
It has been previously reported that the ‘iron clad’ prenup was in Britney’s favor and that ‘any money she made before the wedding is protected.’
It is not clear if Sam would be able to get some of the money she earned while they were married.
The news of their split come only three days after Spears shared a concerning video on Instagram after she bought a stripper pole.
The Baby One More Time hitmaker showed off her pole dancing skills as Nine Inch Nails’ X-rated song Closer played in the background.
“Got this pole two days ago and last night was my first time on it,” she captioned the post.
Britney has a net worth of $60 million and pays tens of thousands of dollars in child support to ex-husband Kevin Federline.
