Actor Bruce Willis is getting candid during a recent interview where he spoke in detail about his battle against dementia.
The star revealed the real reason why he’s trying to give it his all and overcome his struggles related to the neurological disorder.
The actor mentioned how his only goal right now was to be by his family’s side. He feels his health has deteriorated by a significant amount and that has taken a toll on his overall life.
Others revealed how they felt there was a newfound sadness that couldn’t be ignored. But seeing Wilis more determined now than ever meant there was something motivating him in the background. What was causing the star to push harder?
The celeb’s dementia diagnosis was really a shocker for obvious reasons. Some people were just having a tough time accepting it. This includes his daughter and former partner Demi Moore.
But the star says he’s doing well and can’t be more grateful for the birth of his granddaughter. This was his biggest motivation to get well on time, he adds.
Despite his illness, the 68-year-old kept on claiming that he was fitter than ever when it comes down to his loved ones. He loves being with his family and seeing his grandchildren grow up is just the sort of motivation he needs to get better, the star adds.
“Laying my eyes on my newborn grandchild gave me the strength to go through anything. They’re all so precious”- he added.
Bruce Willis reportedly became a grandparent for the first time in April of last year. This happens to be when his daughter gave birth for the first time and for him, it was one of the most glorious days of his life because he held her, moments later.
