Children’s birthday parties might seem like all fun and games but in reality, it’s a huge responsibility.
Taking care of your own kid might seem like a hurdle but what happens when you’ve got a dozen more invited to a birthday event?
The mother revealed how she was never a fan of sending her child for a birthday, to begin with. She was hesitant but since her child wished to go and pleaded to be on his best behavior, she said yes.
But little was she aware of what he was in for. The mother revealed how her child adores cake so after laying his eyes on the birthday cake, he couldn’t control himself.
The mother spoke about how the details of the story were making her feel so upset. She knew that some parents would have rules but saying no to cake despite being invited to the birthday event was just uncalled for.
Kat Stickerler then opted to go to the online platform Reddit and question her behavior as a mom. She also asked others if she was behaving like someone that was entitled.
On that note, people started having their say on the matter. They were sharing their own experiences of attending parties with their children and even mentioned how she had every right to feel like that because her daughter was alone there and she wanted the best for her child.
Some parents were just in absolute disbelief at what was on display. They thanked the mother for raising the issue so they could be more aware of the reality of the matter.
Others felt that there was no justification whatsoever for anyone to be denying a child some cake and they hoped the reality would be out in the open soon.
