If you happen to be a fan of Late Night Shows on television then you probably would want to read on further.
All Late Night comedy shows across the US are all set to undergo a shutdown after Hollywood writers recently announced a strike. Sources from local media outlets mentioned how the strike would take place because of failed negotiations between parties. And the only outcome from the matter seems to be this.
Fans around the world were devastated to hear the news as they felt these shows really added a great source of entertainment. As it is, so many people feel that seeing James Corden leave the US and go back to his home country of the United Kingdom was already so sad.
And now, they’re hearing about a total ban on shows across the board.
Other media outlets reported how all the leading shows that attain the top ratings in the country including The Tonight Show featuring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live would also be a part of the major ban that is really leaving people stunned.
The news comes as thousands of screenwriters opted to go on strike after a span of six weeks of negotiations which media outlets claimed to have failed at a miserable rate.
The existing contract expired last night and that is what resulted in this kickoff, having people at a complete loss for words.
The writers have demanded better pay and benefits and the removal of mini-rooms that they feel just adds a whole lot of discomfort to those that are forced to squish into a tiny room to pen down their thoughts and produce brilliant scripts that lead to the success of such shows, thanks to the ratings that are over the roof.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think the demands of these writers are justified or not? Let us know and be sure to SHARE the story with others too.
