An alligator was seen biting off a man’s leg at a park in Florida and if that was not gruesome enough, what authorities saw next left them stunned.

But thankfully, he did manage to survive, despite losing his vital limb to the jaws of the giant beast. The man revealed how he was spending time in the great outdoors but he had no clue what was waiting for him.

The incident reportedly took place at the Great Outdoors RV and Golf Resort in Titusville. And while incidents like this are rare in the region, it’s known to be infested with gators all around.

“There was a human foot sticking outside his mouth. We knew something was wrong. So we rushed to learn about the recent developments and heartbreaking situation”- they continued.

The latest reports from Florida Today reveal how the victim was rushed to a nearby medical facility. He was airlifted and given immediate first aid, luckily he survived and is now undergoing rehabilitation after the devastating injuries.
