Actor Harrison Ford is getting real candid for his latest interview and that’s where he can be seen speaking about his personal life struggles.
The star says he really struggled to strike a balance between his career and parenthood and that’s why he feels he might not have been the best friend to his kid.
Both Harrison Ford and his beautiful wife were recently pictured attending their son’s college graduation. They spoke about how proud they were to see him get rewarded for his hard work and acting like the classic couple, rooting and cheering him on as he went on stage.
This duo was clearly very excited and even took out their phones to capture the memorable incident online. It was just beautiful and heartwarming to see one of Hollywood’s power couples do what other parents end up doing.
But at the age of 80, the celeb was seen getting very candid about his life and how he’s had a career that spanned 60 years. Yes, six decades is a really long time and as you can imagine, it’s definitely very interesting how it all ensued.
However, the star mentioned how it’s been a really hard juggling act and he does admit that giving his kids the love and attention that they deserved was not something he could do to the best of his ability.
The star says the peak of his career did not come easy. It meant doing more films and spending more time away from home.
And that means his kids were the ones who had to sacrifice less time with their father and he does regret that.
Ford says that having a great support system at home made things so much simpler for him. And in this case, he was referring to his wife Calista Flockhart who he gives credit to the most for her superb parenting.
