US singer Katy Perry was given the honor of attending the King Charles’ coronation event but it may not have gone exactly as she had hoped for.
The starlet was seen donning a lilac-hued attire that was formal in theme and came with a hat and other accessories. While some felt her attire could have been more appropriate as it looked like an absolute misfit in terms of size with buttons seemingly appearing to pop out, others were speaking about something else that was on their mind.
This had to do with how the singer was just confused throughout her time at the high-profile ceremony. She not only did not know where to go and where she was supposed to sit, she was not provided with any guidance or help either.
But the misery failed to end there too. Katy Perry almost slipped and fell and clearly, by that point in time, she seemed to have had enough.
The fact that she is such a leading name in the music industry had fans wondering why she was treated like this in the first place. But other netizens and trolls questioned why the star was invited when she was not ever British. And that began a whole new debate on social media.
People were mean and quick to add how the singer was only allowed to come because she was the fiance of actor Orlando Bloom who is British. And that made her a plus-one guest.
