Singer Ed Sheeran is under a lot of pressure after his recent court appearance.
The leading singer is being accused of plagiarism in the world of music and he’s not happy about that one bit, adding how he never indulged in such behavior.
The star has even gone public with some shocking confessions including how he will be ready to quit the music industry if and when found guilty of such behavior.
The news has sent shockwaves around the entertainment industry as many people did not see something as serious as this coming forward against his name. But the star performer says he is 100% innocent and hence that’s why he has vowed to quit the world of music because that’s how confident he is about the matter and not doing anything wrong.
The trial was dubbed as a copyright infringement one and the singer is believed to have become very affected by it recently as would anyone of his caliber.
The 32-year-old was accused of copying the hit track sung by Marvin Gaye number ‘Let’s Get It On’ in 2015. Sheeran denied the claims and said that his song called Thinking Out Loud is nothing like it and he can’t be held accountable for this sort of news coming out.
The top singer and songwriter has been accused of the ordeal by another fellow songwriter who co-wrote the hit number for Marvin Gaye as she strongly feels that some parts of it are so similar and it’s so obvious what went on over here.
If Sheeran does lose the case, you would be forced to pay a striking $100 million and will also be quitting the industry, he revealed recently.
And as you can imagine, fans are just devastated after hearing the news for obvious reasons.
