Legendary Hollywood actor Robert De Niro has quietly welcomed baby number seven at the age of 79.
And while many people congratulated the celeb on the joyful occasion, there were still plenty of people who couldn’t wait to express hate on the subject.
The arrival of this new bundle of joy makes him a father of seven but some people have a strong feeling that it’s a little too late for such endeavors and the star should think twice.
Others felt this might be one of the main reasons why the news was kept behind closed doors as the actor opted to keep matters private and welcome the baby in a more silent-themed manner.
The news came when the star chose to make the shocking reveal during one of his latest interviews for his movies. Clearly, people were not expecting such a statement and that’s why it went viral as soon as it reached the air.
The actor happened to be discussing the concept of parenting during the exclusive sit-down interview with ET Canada. It was for his most recent movie called About My Father.
This was when the star was questioned about his parenting style and what sort of a parent he really was. This includes how strict he was and whether or not he liked to lay down the framework in terms of rules and regulations for his children.
The 79-year-old star stated that he’s got no other choice than that sometimes. And he’s okay with that. “There is no other way around with children than this”- he concluded.
But the real fun element came when the interviewer questioned the star about his six wonderful children. And he did not hesitate for one second before correcting him and adding that he has seven kids indeed.
