Robert De Niro’s seventh child was seen for the first time as the actor’s girlfriend went out for a stroll in New York City.
The 79-year-old actor left his fans shocked when he announced that he had ‘just had a baby’ in a recent interview after his girlfriend Tiffany Chen was spotted with a baby bump.
Their baby was photographed wearing a pink onesie and covered in a white blanket as the doting mother picked her up from her stroller.
The 45-year-old was seen pushing the stroller as she and their baby enjoyed the sun.
In an interview with Page Six, De Niro said that he was not shocked to become a father again, explaining that it was a ‘planned’ pregnancy.
“How you could not plan that kind of thing?” he asked.
Speaking about his feelings about welcoming a new member of the family, he told Extra: “I’m ok with it. I’m good with it.”
When the actor was asked if parenting ever gets easier, he responded: “Never gets easier.”
De Niro’s ‘About My Father’ co-stars Kim Catrall and Sebastian Maniscalco expressed their shock and joy for the actor, with the latter telling Extra that he had no idea the 79-year-old was expecting a baby.
“I was informed today that he had the baby I didn’t know leading up to this that he was going to have a baby but uh yeah God bless him,” he said.
“He’s a very soft-spoken individual loves to spend time with his family and I’m happy for him.”
Tiffany also said: “God bless him, his significant other. Tiffany is such a beautiful woman. She came to the set once with her family and watched filming, and she was gorgeous and sweet. I’m happy for both of them.”
