One airline passenger is turning heads after he boldly declined to swap seats with a couple who were flying to their honeymoon destination.

The man revealed his story on the online platform of Reddit and since then, the story has been going viral across the board.

He began by explaining how his seat was a pre-booked one on the aircraft. Therefore, he failed to understand how or why this couple who were supposedly on their honeymoon would want his seat, just so they could sit side by side with each other.

Hence, he bashed them and called them out, and blatantly refused to allow them to sit together, at his expense. “I paid for this, I did not just get it”- he continued while generating plenty of interest on his post through Reddit.

The man further added how he has never ever bothered anyone. Therefore, he expected the same kind of treatment from others as well. But this seemed to be a different case altogether.

“I assumed that you both knew that you would be traveling to the same destination together, right? Therefore, why did you not choose to book your seats in advance? Why make others suffer at your expense?”- his words further mentioned.

Therefore, in the end, the couple just stopped arguing. They politely went back to their own respective seats and those seated around them had smirks on their faces. But was this really the right way to speak to them? Some people on Reddit sat down to give their two cents on the entire matter.

Some felt that a little compassion would have been nice in this situation. After all, they were newlyweds and maybe couldn’t the real seats that they wanted.

But the man justified how his size was big and that not every seat would really fit him in. What do you think?
