Bridget Fonda, 59, has answered the question of whether she will be going back to Hollywood after she decided to quit decades ago.
She was a popular actress during the ‘80s and the ‘90s, starring in major blockbusters such as Single White Female in 1992, Point of No Return in 1993, and Jackie Brown in 1997.
Fonda was described as one of the most promising talents in the acting industry before she quit for a quiet life with her husband.
On Monday, Fonda was seen arriving at Los Angeles International Airport where she was asked about her previous career.
According to the Daily Mail, when the former actress was asked if she wanted to return to Hollywood, the 59-year-old answered: “No.”
When a photographer asked her if there was a small chance she might make a comeback, she replied: “I don’t think so, it’s too nice being a civilian.”
It looks like she is really enjoying a quiet, private life with her family.
After the star was spotted, fans were quick to take to social media to express their support for the former actress and her decision to stay away from the spotlight.
One fan wrote: “Really getting sick and tired of pubs and websites making fun of Bridget Fonda. Enough! She quit the business! Leave her alone!!!”
Another said: “I really just wish media would leave Bridget Fonda alone. She’s allowed to have had her illustrious career and taken a step back from it and live her life now in anonymity, instead of updates about what she looks like now. Ffs. I loved SWF too but she’s moved on. Leave her be.”
A third added: “I saw that Bridget Fonda was trending and people are being cruel about her weight, not all of us have it easy 50 and over to be thin or stay thin.”
