Former model Loni Willison, 39, was seen rummaging through a dumpster in Los Angeles looking for food after she became homeless.
The ex-wife of Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson has been living in homeless encampments for almost seven years after the actor allegedly tried to strangle the former model during an argument.
After they ended their relationship in 2014, Willison has struggled with mental health problems.
Best known for her role on the hit TV series Expose as Kira Michaels, Willison can often be seen roaming around the streets, pushing a cart and rummaging through dumpsters in LA for food.
Only eight years ago, she was modeling and appearing on red carpets with Jackson, whom she tied the knot with in 2012.
She has suffered from various mental health issues and addiction, according to Daily Mail.
The 39-year-old, who once graced the cover of Glam Fit magazine, previously told The Sun that she is ‘doing just fine’ and has not had any contact with her ex.
“I haven’t spoken to Jeremy,” she said. “I don’t want to speak to my friends, I’m doing just fine. I don’t want anyone to help me.”
Willison was married to Jackson from 2012 to 2014 after she accused him of strangling her. She said that she ‘can live on her own’ and that she has ‘everything she needs right here.’
“I haven’t got a cell phone. I’ve got food and I’ve got a place to sleep. I get money here and there and there’s food in the bins and near the stores. There’s lots here,” she added.
Speaking to Daily MailTV reporters, Willison explained that her path to homelessness started in 2016 after she lost her job at a cosmetic surgery center in Los Angeles.
She was then evicted from her apartment and forced to live on the streets.
