Social media star Hasbulla Magomedov and his friends have been arrested for dangerous driving in his hometown.

The 20-year-old Russian influencer was seen on the streets of Makhachkala going for wild rides while celebrating a wedding.

Even though the UFC star was not driving, he was seen standing inside one vehicle as other drivers blocked parts of the road before racing through the busy street.

Dagestan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs shared a video of the offenders, including Hasbulla, lined up in a police station.

The influencer later shared an update on social media and apologized for the incident. He also explained that he was not driving any of the vehicles involved.

“We decided to hype it up a bit… this will not happen again, we apologize,” he said.

“We played around a bit and had to answer for it. It wasn’t my car and I wasn’t behind the wheel.”

Dagestan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs shared further details in a statement: “Unbridled wedding fun, Dagestan-style, is famous far beyond the republic’s borders.

“In the absence of other forms of entertainment, this primitive option remains extremely popular – blocking the roads, burning rubber and smashing cars into one another, which in reality have nothing to do whatsoever with wedding celebrations.

“All those who participated in the ‘wedding emotions’, as they called it, were taken to the police and received citations for violations.”

The statement added: “The number of people involved in this is notable – some film studios can’t claim to have so many operators.”

It was in 2020 when Hasbulla, who suffers from Growth Hormone deficiency or dwarfism, rose to fame after he started sharing videos of his trips in Dagestan.

He has become an internet sensation and boasts more than 9 million followers on Instagram.
