JUST IN: Nick Cannon, 42, Blasts Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk As ‘Toxic’ And Praises The Show’s Cancelation


Nick Cannon has shared his thoughts on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk after Meta ended its Facebook Watch original programming, leaving the show without a home.

The 42-year-old comedian has slammed the Daytime Emmy-winning series and branded it ‘toxic.’

Pinkett Smith previously announced that the show, which is co-founded by her and her husband and produced by Westbrook Studios, has been removed and is currently looking for another platform.

“We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership and we are sorry to see the entire team disband,” Pinkett Smith said in a statement.

“We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come.” The statement also that the series is “in talks of finding a new home.”

Cannon has now spoken out about the series and celebrated its cancellation, claiming the ‘toxic table’ ruined the couple’s royalty status in Hollywood.

“If there was no ‘Red Table Talk,’ then he wouldn’t have slapped the s**t out of Chris Rock,” Cannon said. “That was royalty, Will and Jada. Then they brought it to the table.”

Speaking about the couple’s dirty laundry videos, he continued: “I don’t want to know all this s*** about y’all. I just want to mind my Black-owned business.

“I don’t want to be up in everybody else’s kitchen. Keep that s*** to y’all selves.”

Cannon went on: “Too much honesty can get your a** slapped in the face. They made all them memes about my brother Will. They didn’t need to do that.”

This comes after Pinkett Smith said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that discussing triumphs and traumas of popular individuals was ‘one of the biggest purposes’ of Red Table Talk.

She said that the show was created “for people to live in their humanity and not be shamed for it. And have an opportunity to heal, an opportunity to make amends, and an opportunity to share knowledge… from a difficult experience that we can all learn from.”
